Little Life Background!

I'm Currently employed in a non for profit agency. Doing a job I believe in and support greatly. I know my passion lies in my ability to use my experience and creativity to build something more. I am seeking a successful career doing all the things I love and believe in. Part of my goal lies in this blog.

Soft Spot!

This is a blog of a woman I do not know.

Why am I posting a link?

My mom past away in June of 2011. She had diabetes! In her case it started as gestational diabetes and became type 1 after the birth of my older brother. In time she struggled with other medical issues such as kidney failure and the lose of sight in one eye. I truly believe knowledge is power. And I would like everyone who knows anyone with any illness to blog about it, respectfully of course.

I believe in this woman and her blog and it is important to me that I show support to anyone making the tough choices she faces.

If anyone questions their personal risks with this illness, don't hesitate to get tested!! I have been tested 3 times in the last 4 years. It's a simple test. Your insurance covers it and if you need assistance paying for it, there are programs that help. Also state grants.
